INFORMATION ABOUT CHIPETA & TAO'S GOBERIAN LITTER --
These seven baby Goberians were born on their due date, June 26. There are FOUR FEMALES & THREE MALES. AVAILABLE PUPS include our Tri-Colored Guardian Female, one Tri-Colored Pet Home Female and one Pet Home Blonde Female. ONE Available Male, Blonde Pet Home Pup.
Five of the pups are varying lighter shades of cream, like Chipeta (some have white markings as well). Two females are tri-colored, like Poppa-Tao (both of these female babies have wolfish / husky tri-color markings). Because both parents, Chipeta and Sire TAO, are blue-eyed, we expect pups to be blue-eyed (or at least have one blue eye), but puppy - selection will not be until the toddlers are six - weeks old (week of Aug. 7). Complete payment for puppies is due then. Photos are attached of Chipeta and Tao (young & adult) and each of their puppies. Chipeta is also shown in a photo with her newborn puppies.

THESE PUPPIES ARE VERY POPULAR. They are from TWO GENETICALLY SOUND PARENTS (Tested by Cornell University's Embark Program). Parent Dogs have NO testable genetic issues). Both Chipeta and Tao are very sweet, intelligent, beautiful members of two GREAT families who love them dearly. Please note our attached document, "XANADU LTD Pup Guarantee." Other than coat color, gender, and size of puppies, it is difficult to know more about these babies at this time. The average weight of both parent dogs suggests that pups will be about 40-45 lb., but some puppies will grow to be larger and some smaller (please see pup-size notes above).
In our next Pup Alert, eyes should be open. Even with wide-open eyes, eye color is difficult to determine in little ones--and this is why Pup Selection is at six weeks when we can make a more confident guess. It is possible there could be a brown-eyed puppy in this litter, but we'll have to wait and see.

Probably, the Guardian pup selected from Chipeta's litter will be a tri-colored female. XANADU breeds for both tri-colors and creams (white to gold, including pinkish and silver-tones). Our tri-colored female pups will carry the genes for cream-colored pups, too, so we'll likely keep a tri-colored blue-eyed Guardian Female. She will be the first pup selected by XANADU at six-weeks of age (Aug. 7 or before).
Attached is a document called, "Guardian Information." Please read this document IF you are interested in having a Guardian Pup. The Guardian(s) selected from each XANADU litter are our "best" pups, according to XANADU's selection criteria: Temperament, Genetic Soundness, Vet-Checked Health (etc., please see attached document, "XANADU Breeding Goals.") Guardian Pups are also the least expensive; most females have 1-3 litter Breeding Agreements.

IF you want a blue-eyed pup and only brown-eyed pups are available at Pup-Selection Time (not likely), you may have a refund of your deposit or wait for another Goberian litter.
